I'm lucky, I rarely need to see a doctor - which is great because if I needed an appt quickly I'd be out of luck.
The double whammy is that my need wasn't urgent - I was happy to schedule for weeks in advance but that wasn't acceptable.
Like many others I work full time and getting to an appt mid morning or afternoon just doesn't work - scheduling would def assist with this.
