I recieved a letter last year to make an appointment for a smear test. Each time I have visited the surgery to try to make an appointment there has been none available. The receptionist was unhelpful & unacommadating( always), I am polite and part isn't when communicating, unlike your receptionists. I still need my smear test, it is a year over due. I work full time, from 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday. It is impossible to book a day off work & try to book an appointment for a specific day at the same time. I was told Saturday was unavailable. Please contact me to accomadate my needs.

I must start by saying the receptionists at the surgery are very polite and helpful. Some of the doctors are however not so helpful. I have an on going problem for which I am taking medication, two of my symptoms are severe headache and painful muscle spasms. I have had my condition for two years and the doctors at the surgery will not refer me to a specialist, I am very worried about my condition but all the doctors do is keep raising the dose of medication but not actually helping me to find out a course. The doctors seem to have little concern for patients well being,

Everytime I've. Alex to make an appointment for my self or my very young children the receptionist has carried out a triage process over the phone preventing me from booking the type of appointment I have requested. Having been asked multiple times during the call if an appointment was necessary for my youngest child I ended up not receiving a DRS appointment and as a direct result of this I had to later in the day taking him to an a&e which then obviously puts more pressure on this service. I feel that unless this practice has employed qualified Drs or nurse practitioners to answer the appointment calls, then If you request to see a dr, that this request is met without question of debate. In my case I have jeopardised mine and my sons health due to wanting to avoid phoning the surgery for an appointment and feeling like you should not be calling and that you are not worthy of an appointment. If I had any other choice I would choose a different practice to attend

On the whole Iv had good experiences here. Nurses are all lovely and the receptionist are helpful. Can usually get an appointment when needed.

Staff are helpful and once they move to the new premises it should be a fantastic doctors practice as the only thing that lets it down at the moment is parking
