I have never been able to see the doctor of my choice even following my cancer surgery, I would expect a serious illness to take priority , also quite often find on telephone can not get appointments in the day & Internet bookings have few choice of doctors.

It's the best surgery I've ever been a patient at.

Thankfully Dr Freed has retired. Did not get on well with him. Unfortunately Dr Parikh has left also, he discovered my anaemia which led to my cancer diagnosis. My consultant commended him on the series of tests he arranged prior to referral which saved almost 8 weeks, almost certainly saved my life. I have always found this surgery to be extremely good and have always been able to see a doctor when I've needed to. The nurses have also been very good and helpful when I've required dressings after my operations etc I am thankful Myself and my family are with this surgery as stories I've heard from friends on neighbouring surgeries aren't good

I will be putting in a complaint about this surgery, told by the receptionist 'I wouldn't bother having a 7 week early pregnancy scan my daughter did and she still miscarried' it's scary enough having your first child without putting this stress on me! Also told by another receptionist on 3 occasions they could not prescribe me tablets as they hadn't given them to me before to turn up in surgery to find they had prescribed them before!!! One of the lady doctors is useless, when I asked which tablets I should take for an overactive thyroid whilst in my first trimester she tried telling me it was 'folic acid' now I'm no doctor but that is not prescribed for an overactive thyroid! She also wrote on my prescription 'one table to be taken 4 tables a day' even the pharmacist said what is wrong with her?!?! I then came in for my 1st midwife appointment which I have to say I can't fault however I witnessed the receptionist then the SURGERY MANAGER be extremely rude to a patient! The patient had come in at 12.50pm (the surgery closes at 13.00 for lunch) the patient says ' could I ask you a quick question' the receptionist replys ' I'm going home now' and with that walks off around the back and leaves her standing at reception! The surgery manager then walks around to reception and say 'yes' the patient then says 'I was trying to ask the receptionist a question and she just told me she had to go and left me standing here' the reply ' yes well it is lunchtime and we are closed' The service is disgusting from the reception staff except for Sue who is lovely!

Very helpful reception team, can usually get an appointment tent on the day. I have generally been very happy with the gp's at this surgery however I've been dissapointed with my last 2 visits ( one with a locum ). Hopefully this was just a blip
