It is very hard to get an appointment with a doctor at any time. You cannot get an appointment on the day unless you see a duty cliniian?, what is a duty cliniian? You have to ring after 8am and are on hold for up to half an hour or more. The doctors vary from indifferent to fabulous but they only have 5 minutes per patient! I have been with the surgery for over 30 years and in that time the level of service has gone down considerably. Hopefully when they move to the new site there will be more doctors, more receptionists and an appointment on the day may be possible. These things will be of huge benefit not only to present and future clients.

I find the female receipitionists to be extremely rude and unhelpful when trying to book appointments particularly when it comes to same day appointments for my yiung daughter. The doctors are ok, depending on who you see. There is one doctor I refuse to see after very very bad experience. The midwife Carol is amazing, as is the nurse and nurse practitioner.
