I have been attending this surgery for many years and have mostly found the staff, including the doctors and receptionists, helpful and friendly. The surgery is clean and there is a small but quiet waiting room where the patient can feel comfortable. Recently the surgery has taken on a new set of doctors. I have seen two of these doctors on separate occassions, and whilst I found one to be very helpful and empathetic, the other dealt with my issues in a very aloof and half-hearted manner. This last experience left me feeling extremely disappointed. I will be avoiding making future appointments with this doctor as a result. This doctor spent less than 5 minutes with me, and even most of that time was spent by her looking at the computer screen and printing out my repeat prescriptions. As a patient seeking valuable advice and support, I expect any doctor that I see to make a real effort to deliver this and I feel grateful when they do so.

I was given incorrect advice by the receptionist. I lost my password for the online booking/ repeat prescription service and was told that ivwould have to re register all over again - bring in passport etc... ... Then quite by chance I found that I can reorder prescription online without needing any password. Great system but please educate receptionist!!

As a family we have had great service from receptionists to doctors, we are always able to get an appointment when needed. Only downside is sometimes if you get a late appointment they run behind and can be a long wait, when it's for my son it's so easy to entertain, one occasion resulted in 50mins that was a fun experience so I always request a first or near appointment.

Sorry but have had problems with my prescriptions it's now the 3rd time I have had to go back to the surgery to get this sorted and it's still not done ! It was a doctors mistake who does not even work there anymore ! The receptionist who I saw today though was helpful and hopefully will now be sorted

I had to attend the surgery twice in the last few months,Dr Richter and the nurse practitioner who I saw were great and very understanding . I was very content with my treatment. The only issue I have is appointment and sometimes the receptionist. The first time I was ill I went in person as I could not get through on the phone . I was told unless it was an emergency there was no dr available. I said if I was an emergency I would have gone to a&e. I had a very bad chest with some pain. The receptionist said I should try the chemist.I got to see a doctor the next day and had a lung infection . I would like to know what the surgery considers an emergency !
