These comments are from a visit of a few weeks ago. I was waiting upstairs and could hear every word of the consultation in the adjoining room. Because the doors are shut one assumes they have privacy but actually they don't I was also aware of this when I was downstairs in the nurses room.

I have used Stoneleigh Surgery since moving into the area in 1982 and it just keeps getting better. There were some criticisms about patient parking facilities in the past but now, with two Pay & Display car parks, the Market Square, Booths, and Spar I certainly have never had any problems getting a parking space. I saw Dr Christine Orton today who is simply magnificent, but I can recommend all the Doctors at this GP Practice. Getting an appointment is relatively easy (I have relatives in Manchester and they tell me it is a nightmare there!), and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

I saw Dr C ORTON who engages with her patients and involves them in the decision making. She is confident, caring, and quite adorable (she is also gorgeous!) and makes the patient feel at ease. Dr Orton is very easy to talk with .. and I think that is important .. she talks WITH you and not TO you. Highly recommended.

I recently needed to talk to aGP as I felt unwell. I received a phone call back within a few minutes. My concerns were listened to and we decided a plan of action together. When my husband called again later in the day as my condition had deteriorated I had a home visit within 15 minutes! This practice obviously values the care of its patients as its top priority. I could not have asked for better service.
