The doctors are lovely but the reception staff are brusque and unfriendly almost without exception. They make you feel as if you are taking up their valuable time. They look as if they dislike their job and if this is the case, I wish they would make way for staff who greet you with a friendly smile and make you feel welcome and familiar when you walk up to the reception desk. They spoil an otherwise very good practice in my opinion.

From first contact via the receptionist I felt that there was respect and concern shown throughout. Efficient admin and very professional nurses and Doctors.

I simply want to register my gratitude for the care and help I was given by Debbie Bushby last Tuesday. It may have been 'all part of the day's work' as far as she was concerned, but I am grateful both for the actual discomfort relief, and for the advice she gave me. Thank you - you are a part of a service which is much appreciated. I am also very grateful for the careful (and cheerful??) extraction of clips carried out by Amanda Combes yesterday. Trying to book a simple nurse appointment using the online booking system is almost impossible. I need an appointment every 3 months. I try booking online as soon as the time window includes the day I want but there is never a simple nurse appointment showing. There are pages of specialist clinics such as "family planning" and "diabetes" but never any normal nurse appointments. I have been trying daily over the last 10 days to get an appointment for the end of December, but no luck. Please make more normal nurse appointments available for people like me who need treatment at a particular day and time and have to book many weeks in advance due to their job.

Every time I have had to see a Doctor I cannot fault them, however getting to see them is a challenge. I don't like to take emergency/on the day appointments and although it is easy to make an appointment online I have never had to wait less than 3 weeks! I very rarely phone as I always seen to be made to feel guilty about wanting an appointment - just because it's not 'urgent' does not mean I do not want or need to see a GP. Equally on arrival, you are not often greeted by a smile - thank goodness for the self check in as then you don't have to 'disturb' a receptionist at all.
