Had a 2.10pm appointment. Am happy to wait as needed tho the 2pm patient wasn't and asked the receptionist re the delay at around 2.20 and then again at 2.30. The receptionist offered no apology simply that they didn't know where the Doctor was. No annoucement was made to myself of the other 5/6 waiting patients. Once Doctor Scanlon arrived, he was courteous, apologetic and wonderful: but the attitude of the receptionist was appalling. She should have kept her patients aware of the situation and apologised on behalf of the surgery for the delay. As ever: the care is great once you get to a health professional but the reception is terrible
