My doctor is very good and discusses treatment and gives good information. He is very helpful. The phlebotomists are very good too, very quick and efficient and very nice ladies. I have had mixed experiences with receptionists over the years, some are very pleasant and some have been bordering on rude. I have had wrong appointments given to me and when I have arrived at the time I was given, been treated like it was my fault, not theirs. No apology and no attempt at customer service. I sometimes have felt like I should be grateful to be seen at all and dislike this attitude. This, I emphasise is with some of the receptionists and not anyone back of house. I have also found in the past that not being able to make a forward appointment, but being told to phone up at 8am each day until an appointment is available is extremely difficult for a working person. I cannot understand the reason for this and would like an explanation of why there is an assumption that if I make an appointment for two weeks in the future I will not bother to turn up for it. Please do not tar everyone with the same brush. I would like it to be possible to make a longer term appointment. I would like to feel that when I ring up I will always get a good and helpful conversation and at present I do not feel this. I think that customer service is important in all services provided whether government, or commercial.
