Having recently had a baby I have attended the surgery quite regularly. The Doctors, Nurses and Midwifes have been brilliant and have followed up where necessary. Sometimes the Doctors are running quite late, it seems especially so if the appointment is one of the online only ones, but I don't find this surprising considering the number of patients and demand for appointments. Booking appointments online is easy though not all the Doctors seem to have appointments available this way. Getting through on the phone is a challenge and we have not always received the correct information from reception staff, though they are friendly and polite. Overall I would recommend the surgery.

the receptionists are not as helpfuly as they used to be you feel like a number not a person. it is very hard to get them to help you in any way.

Had a 2.10pm appointment. Am happy to wait as needed tho the 2pm patient wasn't and asked the receptionist re the delay at around 2.20 and then again at 2.30. The receptionist offered no apology simply that they didn't know where the Doctor was. No annoucement was made to myself of the other 5/6 waiting patients. Once Doctor Scanlon arrived, he was courteous, apologetic and wonderful: but the attitude of the receptionist was appalling. She should have kept her patients aware of the situation and apologised on behalf of the surgery for the delay. As ever: the care is great once you get to a health professional but the reception is terrible

The appointments rarely run to time even if you are the 1st or 2nd client booked in (recent apt 14:24). I find this frustrating and disrespectful. I recently had to leave despite waiting because the Doctors lateness was going to make me late for my own later appointment (I finally left at 14:50 for my 15:00 appt). I totally understand the nature of their role and emergencies plus phone calls they need to make to patients in between but I need to be able to place some reliance on my apt time. This is about my only concern, overall the surgery, doctors and staff (plus their great on-line system) are great.

I haven't been told by my GP that I had to contact the specilized clinic on my own. I waited for over a week for a phone call wasting valuable time. Until I saw another GP who made is clear that I had to make the initial call.
