Park Surgery were so good. I phoned at about 14.00 today (10/07/15) asking for an appointment as I had developed what I suspected was a respiratory tract infection. No Doctor was available, but one Doctor agreed to see me at he end of her list ( 17.15 or thereabouts). At about 16.35 the Surgery called me and said that my own GP was able to see me at 16.50. I got to the Surgery at about 16.55 and was seen at about 17.05. My GP examined me, agreed that I have an RTI and gave me a prescription accordingly. There is a pharmacy on the premises and they filled the prescription immediately. I was out by about 17.30. I cannot commend too highly the professionalism and the quality of service provided by Park Surgery.

I found Dr. Rattan very helpful in advising me about treatment. She always gives enough time to discuss things and gives her full attention to patients. The reception areas are now much quieter and calmer as all phone calls are taken elsewhere in the building - a great improvement

Park Surgery is an excellent practice with a range of facilities and specialist doctors and nurses. I have always been amazed at the level of care offered here.

This surgery service is shocking. It will take you at least 2 weeks for you to see your own doctor, so if you can't wait, or plan your illness, be prepared to be passed from one doctor to the next, who doesn't know you. All appointments get booked up within 15 minutes after the lines are open, and they do not hold any "emergency" appointments, even if all you have is a minor infection that you know you need antibiotics for. I know others who have moved from this surgery because of their lack of service.

Difficult to get an on the day appt. except by waiting in a long queue at 08.00. at which point usually possible to get urgent appt. On line booking with own G.P. usually only possible with appts. 2/3weeks hence. I managed to get urgent nurse appt. but only by phoning at 08.00. Second appt. with nurse could only be done by phone conversation due to no appts. available before holiday, but this worked out fine.
