I was very unhappy with the midwife appointment I was due to have at Park Surgery. The midwife tried to rearrange the appointment and wasn't particularly nice about it - I felt pressured to rearrange, and felt like I was inconveniencing her by needing to continue with my originally scheduled appointment, even though that was the only time I could make. When I turned up for the appointment, there was nowhere to park at the surgery other than in the town centre car parks, which are a 10-minute walk away and are extremely inconvenient when you are heavily pregnant and have a toddler in tow. The midwife was then so astoundingly rude to me about having forgotten my notes that I walked out of the appointment, since I didn't feel comfortable receiving medical care from her. It was a terrible experience. I do not recommend Park Surgery for midwife care.

I have nothing but praise for the medics and have always received good care once I have managed to get an appointment. The overriding problem is getting response to a telephone call. I have spent unacceptable amounts of time waiting for an answer. ( I emailed a complaint to the Practice Manager ). It is annoying that I have to drive to the surgery to make an appointment.I have used the online facility but the surgery then cancelled the appointment and I then had to wait another 4 days. My humble impression is that the surgery cannot cope with the size of the patient list as it is at present. I hope this does not sound negative, grateful thanks to the medical team.

Was able to get an appointment at very short notice and the dr was fabulous in sorting out my daughters condition, which has been ongoing for three weeks before she nailed it.

My recent help with injections has been excellent and very prompt.The receptionist was highly efficient and helpful.I feel that I was very fortunate to be a patient at the Park Surgery.
