I usually make my appointments on line. Since registering with the practice 1 year plus ago, when I moved, I have not needed many appointments. I now have one or two minor health issues, and I am impressed with the efficiency/thought/care Dr Sherrington offers. As a large practice you are far more efficient than a smaller practice I moved from. I appreciate having the help and scope offered by a wide range of doctors. A good experience. Staff on reception are trained to be helpful, which makes a difference on arrival.
I had three health concerns. All were dealt with with extreme courtesy and efficiency. I was also offered an on-the-spot 'flu' vaccination, which I accepted. This was my first appointment at the practice and I am very happy with all aspects of the practice and my treatment.
My appointment was 40 minutes late.
When I did explain my symptoms, the GP diagnosed an infection at the site of my surgery despite me not showing any signs or symptoms of having an infection, I know this being a clinician myself.
My other symptoms where dismissed and I was palmed off with a prescription for antibiotics.
I left feeling completely dis satisfied with my experience and that my intial problems had not been addressed at all.
Booked on line and had to wait nearly TWO weeks. Not live threatening but have pain. Subsequently need a minor op where I am told I am 120 in queue with ops only being two hours a week and liquid nitrogen applied to forehead which will be in the new year.
It was better when the hold system on the phone told you what number you were in the queue.
