The process was efficient and I was made to feel relaxed . The person who conducted the scan was very professional but also put me at ease and explained everything as it happened.
Trying to get an appointment by phone is very time consuming I find it easier and quicker to visit the surgery. That is my only glitch in what is an all round excellent service.

Park Surgery is a great well-run practice. The only negative is that due to the enormously large number of patients on the books (not the surgery's fault simply the demographics of the Horsham area) it is often difficult to get an appointment with one's own GP or practice nurse within a reasonable time scale.
We are blessed in Horsham to have such a superior service on our doorstep. Sometimes the receptionists can be a little defensive but that is probably good as it sifts out time wasters. Waiting times are usually 10 to 20 minutes after appointment times and occasionally up to an hour which can be frustrating but is usually due to some emergency that has "taken" the particular doctor away from their appointments. The biggest flaw is the fact that patients are allocated a doctor but seldom get to see that doctor without a very lengthy wait in terms of weeks, not days. Otherwise various treatments I have received have been seamless and efficient. As I say, we are very lucky and it is hard to imagine the carping going on in the country and the media.
The receptionists are fantastic and helpful, patient and understanding. As are the doctors! The problem is the long wait hanging on the phone before getting to speak to someone.
