Booking appointments in advance it is very difficult to get an early date without calling on the day which is not convenient if you work away from Horsham
I attended the surgery to have a blood test. The staff were efficient and courteous and I gave blood within five minutes of the appointed time.
gentle soothing music playing in surgery!
Trying to arrange an emergency appointment is horrific at Park Surgery (yet friends in some other practices seem to have no problem at theirs) The receptionist was not really helpful when I called in at the Surgery on Saturday 14 May to try and arrange an appointment (giving me options of 3 June as an available date, going to Crawley Walk In centre or 'phoning the Surgery on the next Monday.
I 'phoned at 8am on the Monday, put the 'phone on speaker as I was 38th in the queue. twenty minutes later (after I had sat and completed the Crossword) it was my turn and I am happy to say that I was then given a same day appointment.
My experience with Dr Khan (not my own doctor) was however Five Star.
I think I was lucky - asked for an acute appointment at 9.50am and was seen at 10.30am
Prescribed a week's course antibiotics - no clear improvement in my condition as yet so may be back.
