I Have been twice in recent weeks. My Dr Emma Jende was excellent, welcoming and friendly. When I had to see the receptionists after they were very helpful giving several date options for my next appointment
The nurses I saw taking bloods this morning very friendly and I felt at ease. Hardly felt the needle.
It takes ages on hold to get an appointment, there are hardly any parking spaces, I arrived on time but had to wait half an hour for my appointment. It was my first visit and I saw a locum doctor so no continuity of care .
I think it would be useful if it was made clear on the website that the old online prescription service is now defunct.
I use the surgery a lot, as I have MS. I have always found it to be a good service for me and my family.
When you actually get to see a Dr they have the time and I never feel rushed. The problem is getting through on the phone and making a convenient appointment. Also if you request anything it seems that the Dr that provides the information has no relevant information about the patient so further requests have to be made.
Annoying to have to wait so long to get through to make an urgent appointment at 8am and to have to wait such a long time to see GP unless happy to see a locum, Layout rather cramped downstairs but nice to have pharmacy on premises.
