I was booked in with the practice nurse, I did not book this appointment through reception the nurse booked it. Whenever we have to ring the surgery the reception staff are always helpful. All the staff at who work at Northiam surgery are helpful. The practice where we lived before was run by locum doctors and it was not easy to get appointments or see the same person twice, we feel the village is fortunate to have this surgery.

The only comment I have is, we are told the repeat prescriptions take 5 working days. But it only seems to count from the day after they receive the request. This needs to be explained better as some people expect their medication on the 5th day. It would be good if there was a cut off time the prescriptions had to be in by so the repeat medications were 5 working days instead of 6 as is quite often the case. It would stop people complaining to the dispensing team, they are busy and quite often do have the repeat prescriptions ready before the five days but not all people seem to appreciate how busy they are.

Booking appointments sometimes involves a wait of up to a week before the chosen doctor has an opening. Mostly my appointments are routine so a delay like this doesn't really affect me.

The service provided by Northiam has always been really good and I have never felt that I was wasting their time and have always had excellent advice

Dr Magee was wonderful - very friendly and thorough. I felt very comfortable under her care. In previous visits, I have always felt well cared for by all the Drs. Dr Dale is also great, he has a confidence about him which is very reassuring
