In my experience, when I ask for an appointment I usually get one on the same day or the day after.

I am completely satisfied with Northiam surgery and consider myself very fortunate.

On Tues I asked for an appointment for Friday with Dr James, unfortunately all bookable appointments were taken, but the receptionist said that I could be seen in the next 20 mins with Dr James if I was able. Seeing her so quickly saved me a lot of anxiety. Dr James made an appropriate referral during my consultation, First class service both from the receptionist and also Dr James. Many thanks to you all. My husband and I having lived in midlands for sixty plus years do really appreciate the service Northiam provide for us.

The 'new system' is not as easy to use as in days of yore and, we can wait up to 25 minutes 'on hold' when at No3 in the queue. Whilst all staff are pleasant to talk to on a face to face basis, some seem to get in a flap when calmness is required. Is this lack of skill or, training? Being restrictive on timings offered for appointments is somewhat tiresome at times, especially when medically, starting early is not easy.

Whilst under the care of Dr. Albardiaz since moving to the area, he has been very pro-active with my medical needs which regretfully, for me, have been wide ranging. We have though been able to talk things through satisfactorily.
