I booked online yesterday, receptionist rang within an hour to ask if it was convenient for me to have a call with Nurse next day between 8 and 10
The nurse rang at 8:45 ( as on text this morning), she asked questions and we discussed medication.
Excellent service
I called to get advice regarding my mmr vaccination status. I was given the information that I had only had 1 vaccination but when I queried if that was sufficient I was directed to NHS 111. I called 111 and they then put a request through to the GP to give me advice. However I still had to call the surgery to request a GP called me back following the 111 referral. It is so long winded and time consuming
I rang the reception and she was helpful and told me to go to the NHS app to make an appointment.which I found easy to use .
Sometimes it takes a long time to get through but are then very helpful.
As it was a urine dip and a text to confirm UTI there was not a lot of discussion! I would like to have spoken to someone to say that three days of AB don’t usually clear it, so will probably have to go through the process again next week. Sadly, the car park opposite is closed for a funfair so it will be a pain to get to the surgery.
