It’s virtually impossible to get an appointment at the surgery or by telephone, the only way to get an appointment is by filling out a form online and hoping someone will ring you back. I was supposed to have a virtual appointment on Tuesday at 17.25 which I presume someone was going to contact me, but no one called so I didn’t get to discuss my care or treatment .

Don’t inform people of appointments which you don’t adhere too . I have just looked on the NHS App and according to that my virtual appointment has taken place and is marked as finished, amazing as no one contacted me !!!

Requested an addition to my meds after seeing a Dr a clinic at Addenbrokes and North Brink added it to my list straight away. As usual, 5* services from North Brink Surgery. Many thanks.

I was experiencing neuropathy symptoms and was in a consultation room within an hour of ringing reception. All diagnostics and treatment were done with great care and speed. I never felt rushed, pressured or worried. The receptionists, nurses and doctors were all incredible. I was very very impressed

I did get an appointment on this occasion but I feel as someone who rarely ever calls for an appointment that when I do call and have to be interrogated as to why I want an appointment I feel this is not necessary. When I call it means I am in need of an appointment, I am not someone who wastes time or appointments and feel that you should be automatically given an appointment.

Suggested improvements
Just offer people who generally need an appointment an appointment . Stop making them wait nearly half a day for a call back just to book them an appointment anyway! What a waste of time and the pairients day, sitting around for a phone call which results in an appointment anyway. I called at 8.15am didn’t get a call back until gone 11am, appointment offered 3pm. A waste of a whole day for me. If I had been offered an appointment when I called I could have got an earlier appointment resulting in having the rest of the day. But your system means waiting around all day!
