There should be appointments available with own gp so that gp is familiar with the patient. This would shorten appointments because the patient does not have to constantly state their history. Appointments with nurses does not provide enough feedback to the patient; the nurses do not have enough knowledge to provide this when the patient explains symptoms. There should be more appointments available with gp's, maybe more gp's is the solution. The solution is not more appointments with nurse practitioners or nurses, which seems to be the current solution to dealing with more patients.
