Share review of North Brink Practice

I was sent to the Minor Injuries Unit, staff were lovely but the Nurse Practioner was unable to issue a prescription ,it needed a doctor to ok it. So 3 hours of my time, her time and a10 mile round trip,feeling very unwell, wasted. I came home with a print out to read. Tried to fill in the online form again when I got home but it was no longer available.

This was the first time in 7 years I’ve tried to see a dr, had never filled in the online form before. I assume it must work for some people but to be sent home with a leaflet and the advice to ‘speak with my gp’ nearly had me in tears. How exactly do I speak with my gp? It wasn’t the nurse Practioners fault, she was doing a doctors job but without the ‘power’ to do it properly.
