One issue (not the surgery’s fault) was with samples being lost/unusable by the lab and having to redo numerous times, with no explanation provided to allow understanding and potentially to help ensure further samples were appropriate. This delayed the process of getting to a final review and being referred on which could then have happened much sooner.
