I found the nurse very rude. Not apologising for the fact my appointment was over 15 minutes late, not making me feel welcome. He should have started off by stating what we were going to do, I.e. refer me. Instead half way through me talking, as I wasn't sure I would get referred, he quite sharply cut me off and said just tell me what to say on the referral. There was no need for his curt, rude demeanour towards me, making me feel stupid and wondering why I bothered to come to the doctors to ask for help, when in not so many words he suggested I just have to live with my condition, when it has caused me a great deal of pain for many years. He quite clearly didn't have time for me, as this was evident in they way he spoke to me.

Suggested improvements
Train your staff to actually care about their patients, with manners. Listen to them, not cutting them off. Make sure your staff have the decency to explain what they are going to do in the appointment if they quite clearly don't have the time for you, to prevent rudely cutting someone off. Don't have appointments booked every 5 minutes, this does not allow enough time for some and leaves others excessively waiting last their appointment time.
