Enabling a patient to make appointments with a GP who has seen the patient regularly would make a considerable difference to both patient satisfaction and to appointment time. More appointments with GP's rather than nurse led appointments would be an improvement. When GP surgeries are struggling with the sheer amount of patients, that GP surgery should stop taking on new patients!!
