The lady I saw named Brontë was brilliant. Reassured me and the procedure was well actioned. I cannot suggest any improvement here. The triage system works as long as you jump on at 8am. You do however get a phone call or even an appointment the same day which is fantastic. Booking a follow up appointment is not easy even when requested by a clinician. Links are often sent to book appointments but none are available online. The people that answer the phones are very good, if they cannot help themselves then they will contact the relevant person.

Suggested improvements
It would be beneficial to have face to face triage by a fully trained person. I have felt on occasion that my symptoms have not been acknowledged. I am aware that this information is then checked by the doctor who makes a decision based on the information given. An example is a young lady who insisted my symptoms were the after effects of covid. I feel she did not listen and had made her decision before I’d sat down. I then had a further appointment with Brontë who immediately knew something was wrong and called a doctor in. This was just based on my BP and heart rate.
