I just want to say a massive thank you to Kate, I was in a state about a lump and she was so caring and supportive, she rang me 3 times to make sure the treatment she gave me was working and that I was OK, also whenever I have gone with anything I have had 5 star treatment and wouldn't want to be at any other Doctors surgery. All the Doctors are extremely thorough with treatments, follow ups and referrals.

My wife could not get an appointment for 4 weeks ,so had to join the 8am lottery .I called this morning for an appointment to see the nurse for blood tests etc and told I had to wait 2 weeks.What a disgrace! I have been with this surgery for 72 years including Fairfield,and had to watch it go down hill every year.I don't see any improvement since it came out of special measures.

Dr Shahnaz Abdul Rahim is a disgrace to the medical profession and unfortunately is tarnishing the name and reputarion of my childhood medical centre. The lack of respect, understanding and general care she has shown towards me was very much a shock. An even greater shock is that it has now occurred on two seperate visits, literally bringing me to tears on both occasions.
Her tone of voice was very much condiscending and her short responses, again condiscending. Rejecting the majority of my comments immediately without giving any real consideration is something I found quite distressing.
I have now lost all confidence in attending Medlock Vale medical practice due to these traumatic experiences. I would highly advise the practise to undertake customer satisfaction survey with her patients. Thankfully the receptionist was caring and able to calm me down and help me to start to get over a horrible experience.
This is very much a review of Dr Rahim. I have been very happy with the advice and service of othe doctors who have seen me over the years.
