I did not see the receptionist yesterday as I booked in using the booking in system, however when I popped in to make the appointment for the blood test, the receptionist was really helpful. Yesterday I was called promptly for my appointment and the nurse was assuring, friendly and helpful. I have never noticed the surgery to be anything but clean.

I cannot think of anything that could have been done better.

I felt the GP doing my cardiology review wasn't particularly specialised in this area on this occasion compared to ones I have had in the past. Also surprised I didn't have an ECG done on arrival. The gp hadn't read up on my notes so couldn't help go through my latest findings on my hospital visit and did seem to be struggling with the computer system. When I did mention some of the cardiology terminology raised at my appointment she was unaware of its significance She listens to my pulse for 5 secs which isn't long enough to establish a regular/irregular rhythm Overall the gp was very friendly, approachable and kind however I feel a cardiology background gp would enhance this service

-gp to read on notes prior to appointment -a cardiology background gp would enhance this service -maybe get a hca to do full set of obs, ecg, weight on arrival

Sometimes it is not possible to get an appointment on the same day, I had to wait till the following evening and then got a phone call from a doctor. It seems, if your own dr has a day off or is on leave you just have to wait until they return.

Make appointments without having to call on the day.

When I contacted I was given appointment the next day which is outstanding service
