Didn’t use reception. I think the Surgery is excellent in my experience since moving here 3 years ago. Excellent diabetic service with all but the retinopathy test done in house. Very convenient for me.

I have spoken to my gp Dr Workman but never met face to face. All discussions have been on the telephone and relatively brief. Would be nice to meet him. Having said that I have seen Dr Bhandaran as a specialist diabetes consultant on a number of occasions.

The nurse I saw for my blood test was excellent and always is. Reception is usually a problem as only one desk and they deal with all queries, instead of a separate desk for just check ins. This causes delays and makes people late for their appointments and waste clinician's more valuable time. I can never check in on screen as not seeing my own Dr. I have not been able to see him for years.

The check in system needs updating. I can never check in on the screen as I am never given appointments with my own Dr. This causes delays as there is only one reception position and there is always a big queue. They are dealing with queries and not check ins that take a second. This causes delays for appointments and wastes clinicians more valuable time. The computer system needs updating to allow for check in.
