Really quick appointment for routine blood test. Booked this via the link in the text. Friendly HCA and results within 24 hours - posted on the portal. A great service from a really helpful surgery. Well done to all the team.

Visited little common as I wasn’t able to get an appointment at my old town surgery despite them trying there very best so first time at LC all went well saw Matt the clinical paramedic I believe incredibly helpful organising a full set of bloods and pee test for next morning lovely receptionist booked those etc also next day an appointment was arranged for ultrasounds scans … absolutely amazing service as always great teams at Old Town and now I can say the same for Little common so lucky to be a patient at these surgery’s …

I was contacted to make a routine blood test appointment the receptionist was polite and helpful the staff member I saw advised what the test was for checked all my details checked if I had any issues with having the test then painlessly did the test advised what would happen re the results made sure I was ok before I left the surgery as ever excellent care & service from this surgery and it’s team

The only issue was parking very busy but quite a few vans not connected to the surgery which can’t be helped one of those things did get parked in the end

Engage system ponderous and leaves you hanging for answers. When I arrived, sole receptionist had her back to the counter chatting to another member of staff; neither noticed for some time I was there. She was very pleasant, but didn't know the answer to my query. When I phoned back later that day I was in a queue of nine; nice to be kept informed.

Suggested improvements
Called through to see nurse only a little after due time for second injection of a pair. Didn't introduce herself. When I explained that I was concerned that the previous injection caused severe muscle pain she told me that it didn't go 'anywhere near the muscle'. As it's meant to be an intramuscular injection that made no sense. I felt my concerns were dismissed. She was perfunctory; everything was laid out uncovered; I was asked which arm to use and that was it. Entire session in under 90 seconds; which is fine if you actually feel you have engaged with someone.
