As you can see my husband and I (I speak for both of us and this last appointment was for him) have had extremely good treatment at Old Town Surgery. We count ourselves fortunate to be with you when hearing of so many problems elsewhere. The only criticism we have and it isn't really one because it is a necessity is sharing Dr Bayles with Little Common which means she isn't there every day. Obviously we are very selfish! We could criticise the NHS generally as my husband has been in a queue for a hospital appointment and in pain. That has been worrying in case his condition was getting worse while we waited but we have an appointment now thanks to Dr Bayles and we hope for answers soon. Thank you for the care and attention we receive, we are grateful.

I got an appointment within 48 hours, I waited for a few moments to see the Practice Nurse who was apologetic for the wait - even though it was towards the end of the morning surgery. The treatment and advice that I was received was entirely appropriate for my needs without any sense of hurry

I have only been a patient at this surgery for 5 months since moving into the area. My impression is that it is a very well run practice, but my experience is limited to a couple of short visits only. I am about to relocate within the same town, and I certainly hope that I am able to remain with my current GP
