I would like to thank Dr Dewberry for referring our family to Anna McCallum the
Children and Young Persons Care Coordinator at Bexhill Primary Care Network. She has supported my family and I through some very difficult times recently and I would like to thank her and feel that she should be recognised for her continued support by phoning us sometimes daily to check that we are all ok and that my daughter is ok & for liaising between services and school that have not been there for us in the past. We met Anna for the first time today and she is truly an amazing person.
Thank you so much Anna and Dr Dewberry for your continued support that really keeps us all going.
Thank you so much to the receptionists who have listened and were compassionate and helped with telephone appointments when I felt really low - you have no idea how much it helps when you feel that low.
Michelle & family
Always good prompt reply to email & telephone. Call back service excellent.
I can’t fault the care I get from Dr Stott & all his team.
I have nothing to say other than positive comments, Dr Stocks is fab and always has been, he listens, a rare experience these days and more recently I met with Dr Akroyd, who put me totally at ease, she is relaxed, informal and so easy to talk to.
I have called to make sure I'll be given prescription for my child, so finally I can get glucose strips, as the one on the prescription( mylife brand) cannot be ordered by the pharmacy as there is some manufacture issue.
I can have freestyle glucose test strips as have a test meter for them. While trying to confirm it'll be the freestyle glucose test strips and not the ketones test strips, I was constantly fobbed off by the receptionist that she can't see if it's glucose or ketones !! She was patronizing, nasty and not helpful at all while I'm waiting for ANY of these test strips since Friday !!!! She made my blood boil when I wasn't yet angry, as this is the life of my child that depends on these strips !!!
I have pointed out that I also got the wrong insulin pen as should get one red for long lasting insulin and blue for rapid insulin ( instead Igot two red) ! The colour of the pens is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT therefore they are MANUFACTURED IN DIFFERENT COLOURS!!
I was told on the phone by unqualified person that the colour doesn't matter and strangely enough pediatrician and nurses at Conquest hospital must be idiots as they claim the opposite !!!
It's not even one week since we left hospital and all of this is not only shock but something I've never had to do before hence I need help but definitely CANNOT FIND IT IN YOUR SURGERY RECEPTION OR PRESCRIPTION DEPARTMENT.
I request my prescriptions via my medication app for delivery which is faster than ever getting an appointment and a formal prescription! I was then due an injection at the surgery inwhich the receptionist refused me in with 5 negative test results for covid. I then become unwell and suffered side affects not having this injection which is important to me and my health and wel being. I then get a call to state she can book me in but I’m yet to await a further 7 days leaving the injection near on 3 weeks late. I can collect my prescriptions faster than 7 days which I stayed she then said she doesn’t know anything about medications on the app I as baffled stated that’s bizzare like she couldn’t have said I can order it and it be with me sooner! She then Absolutely missing my points and views hung up because I had a change of voice tone disgusting service this behaviour from a receptionist doesn’t help people with mental health it makes me not want to even step in the surgery.
Little Common Surgery was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
