The radio playing in the waiting room was deafening, two of the very elderly people had their fingers in their ears and I found it uncomfortable. Gentle background music if you must, but blasting people with unwanted sound causes even more stress. Thank you

After a "clear" urine test I had to wait 5 or 6 weeks for a telephone appointment to discuss my recent haematuria. But at this appointment I was booked in for an immediate blood test and urgent hospital urology appointment within 2 weeks! It was as if a clear urine test, despite a recent history of haematuria, meant that an appointment was not at all urgent. The TV screen in the waiting room urges everyone to take haematuria very seriously, with the possibility of a condition where early diagnosis is vital, but it didn't happen this time. By the way, I do not "identify with" male, I AM male, with primary and secondary male sexual characteristics including a prostate gland. This question is an insult to basic intelligence, to the medical profession, and to me personally.

The fact that I had recent haematuria (three episodes in recent years) should have been taken more seriously. And your personal questions need to be revised.

No still have to go through the receptionist for a Gp to call back before I can make an appointment.

It's time we can ring and make appointments again.

I have found the Old Town Surgery to be professional and efficient. There is a good system of telephone and face to face appts which have helped me navigate a couple of different issues as quickly and easily as possible. Each staff member I have come across has been friendly, polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I telephone for appts on the day and can't seem to work the online system so sometimes the wait can be long but this is standard and not to do with the old town surgery really. When I get through, staff are polite, and helpful.

I can't think of anything the surgery can do better. It is very good.

We still face the 8am game of trying to make contact. There used to be a call-back facility, has this been dropped? All staff very polite and helpful.

Please change the dreadful hold 'music', it could be much improved, particularly if you are waiting for some time before speaking to a member of the staff!
