I have not answered the previous question as I have not booked an appointment recently, on my previous visit to the Old Town surgery I became aware that there had been some changes to the staff and attitudes which was somewhat surprising, previously I would have rated all aspects of the Old Town practice as excellent,, I have decided to reserve judgement until I have had time to see what effect the changes have had after a settling period. Yesterdays appointment was via the telephone and I am completely satisfied with all aspects of my call with the respiratory department, could not have been better.

Sue Currie and Kate Goodsell have been amazing throughout the difficult times since October and liaising with them over my treatment has always been 100% efficient. Discussions with me and informing me has been exemplary

Not have a system where trying to make an appointment at 8am by phone IF you need to see a doctor does not result in being 27th in the queue, Never like that pre Covid when all other things like dentist etc are back to normal ? One never waited weeks to see a GP,Why ?
