After a "clear" urine test I had to wait 5 or 6 weeks for a telephone appointment to discuss my recent haematuria. But at this appointment I was booked in for an immediate blood test and urgent hospital urology appointment within 2 weeks! It was as if a clear urine test, despite a recent history of haematuria, meant that an appointment was not at all urgent. The TV screen in the waiting room urges everyone to take haematuria very seriously, with the possibility of a condition where early diagnosis is vital, but it didn't happen this time.
By the way, I do not "identify with" male, I AM male, with primary and secondary male sexual characteristics including a prostate gland. This question is an insult to basic intelligence, to the medical profession, and to me personally.
