Would like to know why the Saturday morning surgery was stopped. I work away from home and sometimes the weekend is the only time I can get to see the doctor. It's now impossible. It's good that I can request my repeat prescription on line when this system is working correctly. I usually phone to check that they have received it. Making an appointment is very difficult. They say phone on the morning you want to see the doctor after 8.00. It's almost impossible to get through as the line is busy.when you eventually get through all the appointments have gone. Communication is not good. I was not told that my doctor had left the practice and I now had a new doctor. Surely a letter should have been sent out with an optional of choosing which doctors list I'd like to go on. I find that because I don't know my new doctor and he doesn't know me, I end up telling him what I want and he usually agrees. I wasn't sure if he'd actually read my notes and knew what my problem was. Didn't instill confidence.
