Booked in using computer screen, didn’t have to wait long for my appointment and very efficient nurse taking my bloods
I was called in for a routine blood test, I checked in was called to my appointment went through had blood drawn and was dismissed, we didn't talk about my treatment etc.
Have always had excellent experiences at the Surgery with the receptionists and my fantastic GP. Sure, you can't get an appt as soon as you'd like (countrywide prob!), but staff both on the phone and face to face really seem to juggle and search as best they can, and i've always found them cheerful, patient, friendly and polite. Must be a very frazzling and exasperating job much of the time, but you'd never guess that when you go. Thank you! On the odd occasion i feel as though I'm being slightly "shovelled through" in the appt, but that's totally understandable given the national dire situation of "too many patients and too few GPs", and a population getting sicker rather than healthier! We're all darn lucky to receive medical attention for free; i lived a long time in NZ, where you had to pay for almost every appt! Bless you all :-)
I have been having regular blood tests during my treatment plan, the lady who does them is so cheerful, efficient and helpful. I do self check in keypad on arrival for these appointments.
Also the GP I am with there has also been excellent.
