Getting the appointment was the usual nightmare.... constantly phoning at surgery opening to gain that elusive appointment 2 weeks hence. However, much to my surprise Dr Aruni was attentive, supportive, and gave the promise of being proactive. I was made aware that I had very limited time and could only discuss one health issue, which is an impossibility when, like me, you have a complex health condition which affects your whole body. I was very anxious due to previous experiences of dismissive health professionals, but Dr Aruni was compassion personified. And even though I did spend a lot of the appointment crying, we still managed to make headway dealing with some issues.

Difficult to secure an appointment that fitted in with other appointments. A wait for weeks.

A ‘small scratch’ for a blood sample turned into a blood blister- 6cm x 2 - in the crook of my arm that lasted a week!
