I have no complaints at all, the telephone was answered almost immediately, the appointment made and and the blood test was as expected. I haven’t even got a bruise! Well done Henfield Medical Centre.
Although there are many telephone lines only one person actually answers the calls. Therefore it is not unusual to be 18 in the call queue and when you get down to number I you can get cut off!! Then you have tojoin the queue again. That could mean you have been on hold for over 2 hours.
Nothing can ever be 100per cent but it wasn’t clear at first where wheelchair patients could or should access for vaccinations until we asked and after that we were seen immediately and swiftly.
The flu and Covid booster vaccinations were carried out by friendly staff and kept to the time of my appointment.
It is however, sometimes difficult to get an appointment to see my GP and have first of all to talk on the phone with them before being seen by them . This does make the diagnosis rather long winded.
Was sent an email reference injections. Clicked on and selected a convenient date for me and it was as simple as that.
Henfield Medical Centre was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
