When I first phoned for a holiday vaccination appointment, I was told that I couldn’t get them done at the surgery and to go to the chemist. I had to call back and speak to someone else. Then I was told that there were no appointments until January. My partner already had this appointment scheduled so he said I could have it and he went to the chemist as it’s easier for him as he works from home. So it wasn’t easy but when I got there, I was really impressed with the healthcare professionals and the way the appointment was conducted. Thank you for the way I was greeted, had the vaccinations explained to me and the friendly approach.
Convenient appointment, friendly helpful staff and caring nurse
I came for my 3 monthly Hormone injection - treatment for my Prostate Cancer. My appointment was at 10.10.
Nurse called me at 10.25 to tell me that there was no Prostap ( my injection ) at the practice despite the fact that my appointment was made at least 3-4 weeks previously.
Totally not her fault she was very annoyed herself at the situation.
Luckily she was able to book me in for next Tuesday the day before I fly to America for 6 weeks.
My rating of poor is based on the surgery not having the required medicine to carry out the pre booked procedure - nothing against the nurse or the facility itself.
Excellent professional care, kindness and understanding. No problem for me getting an appropriate appointment by telephone.
Simply I explained what the problem was the person couldn’t help me so go another person to contact me and problem dolved
