Finding it hard to get appointments Telephone call from pharmacist telling me my cholesterol is high and will need to try statins. Last blood test was in August 23 and this was first time I knew my cholesterol was high. Had to ask for dietary advice but this was not helpful, not information about problem, what is high out of cholesterols, why this might be and more so future risks. Google tells me I might be at risk of a heart attack

Understand your patient. This is the second time I have received news out of the blue and without any information or reassurance. No empathy or understanding Lack of validation Feel like I don’t matter

I was feeling really unwell and the 111 service had not been particularly helpful over the weekend, therefore when I managed to get through to the surgery and get an appointment in the afternoon I was extremely relieved. The practitioner was very empathetic, professional and thorough., and I would like to thank him for his care towards me. I picked up my prescription within 5 minutes. Brilliant service. So thank you
