Sometimes the wait time is too long and you can’t see your own doctor so there is no continuity of care

You could make it easier to see a doctor and these reviews could be shorter. So it is less time consuming to complete

Receptionists aren't great but everything else is pretty great. Doctor I saw gave me very in depth explanations about what was happening and how I could improve my situation - nothing but a good experience from him.

Friendlier and more helpful receptionists. The one that I spoke with over the phone was lovely but any that I've had to talk to in person have been cold, rude and have felt like they don't want me to come back or get help.

This review is about the care I have received from the receptioninsts at the Medical Centre and the Senior Nurse Practicioner Michael Gerraghty in particular. It is impossible to get any level of continuity with Doctors as usually it's a different Doctor each time in order to not have to wait three weeks or so to see the Doctor you'd prefer. The receptionists have a difficult job, especially as all the Doctors are part-timers. I have had occasion recently to go the surgery twice with urgent problems and they have been able to slot me in with Michael on the day. Michael is, in my view the most professional medical practitioner in the Medical Centre. His knowledge is such that he thinks around a problem and considers the treatment rather than make a quick diagnosis and treatment plan. He continues to impress me every time I see him. In fact I am always delighted to see him. Both Michael and Liam are a credit to their profession and to the Medical Centre.

More Doctor days per week to ease the waiting times for appointments. This surely eases the pressure on Doctor's time and may lead to having family Doctors again.
