Receptionist publicly humiliated me via an intercom out in the street i am hard of hearing the road is very busy and i could not hear what she was saying she started shouting out medical questions that passers by were listing to but i couldn't hear.
When I made a complaint to the practice manager the reception staff ganged up together and tried to turn it on me being rude and escalated a complaint about me.
They are not doctors, they answer the phones and they make appointments ! I did not even get into the building.
I am thinking about making a complaint of discrimination under the equality's act
Always had excellent service from this surgery
Staff very friendly and helpful as usual. I saw Paula for a coil fitting, she explained well about possible side effects and incase of any concern I was to contact the surgery. Felt well informed and looked after. Thank you again GHS
Everything was efficient and the doctor was very kind
Unfortunately the receptionist has to use an intercom which is not fit for purpose. Much too much interference on the line so extremely difficult to communicate with her. She must be exhausted at the end of her shift. In addition, whenever it rains there is a very large puddle on the road at entrance to surgery. The cars splash you as they go by so impossible to socially distance. Please can you put markers down in the front so people can queue safely and without fear of getting splashed . New to practice but am very impressed with doctors and staff who are extremely helpful, professional and knowledgable Many thanks for great care
