Requested an appointment and received a call back the same day. They were very accommodating about working around my work commitments.
Sophie, the nurse practitioner I deal with and my GP are first class. The system for communication and booking etc is extraordinarily flexible and efficient.
While I did manage to have a doctor patient appointment and was advised the reason I couldnt hear was because wax was in one I was horrified to be told there was an 18 month waiting list to see somebody or I had to pay spec savers £30 which turns out when I phoned was £55. This was a simple service conducted by a nurse free of charge in the past. How many more things are we going to have to Pay for!!!! Bad enough you have to beg to have a face to face apppointment. I thought the NHS was free from point of delivery obviously NO MORE!!!!
Reassuring receptionist when I called for appointment.
My consultation with Gp was excellent. He listened to everything I had to say , gave me his full attention and explained everything throughout my examination.
Discussed my symptoms and treatment which was so reassuring and put me at ease .
Thankyou for providing a great service during this difficult time.
Very helpful surgery from reception through to the doctors and nurses.
I wanted to especially mention Teresa the nurse as she is such a lovely caring person. I have been having dressing changes for a couple of weeks and can say it’s a delight going as she is excellent at her job. Today I went for my dressing and as I was waiting to be called I received a text telling me to book with GP for my flu jab. I happened to mention this to Teresa and she asked if I would like it there and then! Perfect, saves another appointment and freeing up another slot for someone else. Thank you
