I have been receiving treatment for an ulcer on my leg, from Nurse Teresa Meekes since early April. Mainly this involves an appointment every week for an assessment of the healing process and applying fresh dressings to the wound. This has been a very pleasant experience, carried out by a competent and cheerful nurse. I am always aware of what is being done and /or what needs to be done. Somehow, she always seems to find suitable time for me every week, in spite of her busy schedule. Her delight when she examined me at my last appointment, indicated at once that recently progress had been very good and that soon I might no longer need her specialist skills. I do not relish the thought of having another ulcerous leg in the future, but if it should occur, then I know I would be in good hands, with Teresa Meekes.
