Dorking Medical Practice at New House Surgery
New House Surgery, 142a South Street, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 2QR 345 reviewsReviews
I moved to this surgery nearly 3 years ago. At my medical with Donna, the nurse, she persuaded me to give up wine as I was "obese" with a BMI of 32. I did and since have lost 15 kilos as I became more health conscious as I got older.
All the doctors are most helpful and are looking after my every needs - prostate, back ache, high blood pressure, raised cholesterol.
I consider myself healthy for a near 75 year old and fit as I took slow jogging last July and try to jog for 50 minutes 3-4 times a week.
I am a great believer in the NHS and get quite annoyed at the flack it gets from the press and politicians.
So cheers to the Dorking Medical Practice with my one can of beer a day now!
Prompt.
Skilled.
Caring.
Improve? - same day attention.
When given results over phone and obviouscly there is a problem - an appointment should be offered as it is convenient time for the GP but not always possibel for the patient to discuss - then no appointments available for a week with suitable doctor.
"One problem one appointment is a very "belligerent" notice and suggests three problems equals three appointments and I can't get one this week.
Thank you for your feedback - as a result of your comment, we have now amended the notices so they are less forceful! Louise Laithwaite, Practice Manager
X-Infectian.
I wondered if my arm should have been cleaned with a disinfectant wipe before my blood was taken.
Very good with doctor Muna - B Qureshia.
My opinion ill stick buy all those in reception on their computers are good and polite.
All nurses are the same.
