I have to be honest, I have not experienced any negativity over trying to make an appointment but it is frustrating when you see the surgery is empty and other people are trying to get appointments. What is the point of having a large building and being told no doctors are in today, (only duty drs) it’s not good enough, it needs to go back to how it was when patients could call-in and make an appointment there and then not having to wait for up to 2 to 3 weeks before they can see somebody also it needs to be recognised that patients want to see a doctor. Not a doctors associate who do not have the same experience or qualifications as GPs have. Churchfields is a teaching practice when a GP should be with either the student doctor or physician associate.

Suggested improvements
Receptionist should be giving their name when they are taking the call some receptionist are still very standoffish when dealing with patience. Yes I understand I have a job to do and a procedure to follow but attitudes need to change not. Everybody is good at making appointments online. Also the queue at times is still very long when you only see one receptionist dealing with a patient. The buzzer needs to be pressed so that another receptionist can come out. And get the queue right down
