I've rung the surgery at 8o clock to be told the lines are full ring back when it's quieter which I did to be told all appointments have gone ,I couldn't book for the next day only for a fortnight ahead .I went to local chemist he couldn't do anything to help but sold me some ear calm at £8.50 which has done nothing at all and as it's Easter I can't ring the surgery until next Tues to try and get an app I,m in a lot of pain with ear ache and I,m not impressed with the booking system

Suggested improvements
Sort out the booking system there has to be a better way than a mad scramble at 8.o clock every morning

We offer some appointments available to book online, some bookable two weeks in advance and the rest are open at 8.00am on the day. The majority of appointments that are not attended are those that are booked in advance, the patient either gets better or forgets and doesn't call to cancel the appointment therefore meaning there are even less appointments available. We have a finite number of appointments and unfortunately when they are full we have nothing else to offer. Unfortunately demand outstrips capacity. We are sorry you feel dissatisfied with our booking system, you are at liberty to register at another practice if you feel your needs are not being met by us.
