I find the service at the Byfield surgery very good, from receptionists, nurses to doctors. This particular visit I had no need to speak to a receptionist.

Rang at 8am, phone answered quickly and , efficiently by a very helpful and friendly receptionist.and an appointment was made for 8:50 that morning.
I so appreciate the help, care , advice and attention I was given by Dr Provins at my appointment. Everyone at the surgery puts you at ease and are always available to help .

Young Receptionist helped me see a Doctor later in the day. She was polite, understanding and helpful. Dr. Harvey contacted me later and as usual he sorted me out!! I was very grateful to have a painful, infected finger attended to. I have always found our Surgery and it’s Staff always willing to help if they can.

Although I call at 8 I am immediately in a queue. My position was 7. It took 13 minutes to speak to receptionist. This is not a criticism, it is due to work overload and I understand the situation
Thank you for your feedback - unfortunately we don't have room for more staff, two of our receptionists currently share one desk, we would love a bigger surgery!
I see Nurses Amy & Holly regularly, and Dr Rampling. I ALWAYS leave feeling like I have been heard and cared for. I have never felt so safe and happy with a medical centre as I do with Byfield. We considered moving numerous times over the years but the practice keeps us here as someone with health problems, having such great nurses and GP is really important and quite rare. All of the staff I interact with are helpful and lovely.
