I was expecting to have difficulty getting an appointment, simply because that is how it is presented in the media. I was pleasantly surprised to get an appointment the same morning I rang. Well done Byfield Medical Centre.
I seen Dr James as I was fearful of another miscarriage. She was very cold and blunt with me, and lacked any compassion atall.

I was told my Daughter couldn’t have an appointment on the Monday as she hadn’t had her cough for 3 weeks. I explained that she had been poorly for 10 days with a cough, not eating and had been sick. The receptionist said I still had to wait. She said we could go to the chemist to see someone.
After my Daighter worsened overnight we managed to get an appointment on Tuesday morning to be told my Daughter has a chest infection and needed antibiotics. She struggled to keep these down and we ended up visiting A&E that afternoon.
Had we been given an appointment on the Monday we could have avoided this, she would have on the antibiotics before going down hill.
Very disappointed with the service I received and yet again couldn’t get passed the receptionist.
